FEELING FLOATY

Theres something super satisfying about pairing unexpected items together, even more so when they’re monochromatic and floaty! If you’re a regular here or on my Instagram, you’ll know by now my addiction to all things black and white. Plus since the warmer weather has descended on the UK, I’ve fallen heavily for the surface interest of crochet and broderie anglais which screams summer to me. You can read about my other favourite broderie anglais piece here.

T-SHIRT: TEE & CAKE | SKIRT: TOPSHOP | BAG: TOPSHOP | SANDALS: ZARA (Customised)

I’ve paired this beautiful and versatile organza prom skirt from Topshop, which was an absolute sale bargain. It’s currently 50% off and most sizes available!! (click here or check out my SHOP MY FAVOURITES on the home page) with these customised Zara flats (also in the sale!! – click here) and a logo t-shirt from Tee and Cake. Theres something inherently hard looking about the typography on this t-shirt: a real juxtaposition if you like to the stereotypical meaning of the word feminism.

My trusty SEB metal handle bag also makes another appearance – a real favourite of mine currently (you can shop this bag in black, pale blue and pale pink in my favourite section on my home page or click here). It comes with a detachable cross body strap too which makes it a real winner. It nails that metal handle trend along with being roomy enough to be functional and versatile.
